Fingerprint recognition is one of the most safe and secure methods of access control to date. Passwords and PIN numbers can be forgotten, keys and swipe cards can be lost or stolen, your fingerprint however is always with you and is unique.
To open the lock simply place your fingerprint on the scanner to be scanned. Your fingerprint is then cross referenced against the stored authorized user templates. Once a match has been found, authorization is complete and the lock opens. This whole process takes less than 1 second.
